Kara (Hangul: 카라, Japanese: カラ, often stylized as KARA) is a popular South Koreangirl group signed with DSP Media (DSP). The band name Kara comes from the Greek Word "chara" (χαρά, lit. "joy"), which the group interpreted to mean "sweet melody".Kara originally started as a four member group and made their debut
with "Break It" while displaying a strong female image and a mature R&B sound. Expectations for the group to be as big as their senior labelmates, Fin.K.L, were extremely high and the members were promoted as successors to them. They released their first album titled The First Blooming in 2007. However, their debut was not well received by the public, and the album was a commercial failure.IN 2008, Kim Sunghee departed the group due to parental pressure, and
two new members were brought in; as such, the group currently consists
of five members: Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Jung Nicole, Goo Hara, and Kang Jiyoung.
The addition of the two new members also faced a change in the group's
original image to a "pretty but natural" appeal. The five-member band
eventually went on to achieve their first number one song with "Honey".

Dalmatian (Korean: 달마시안) is a six-member boy band based in South Korea, created and managed by Monkey Funch Entertainment, which also manages MC Mong.
The group consists of Inati, Dari, Simon, Youngwon, Jisu, and Daniel.
Dalmatian released a 30-second music video teaser of their debut digital
single on August 25, 2010. It followed by the song and video's full
release on September 1, and the group officially debuted on the
following day on Mnet's music program M! Countdown.[1]
On May 7, 2012, Dalmatian announced that Day Day had dropped out of
their group due to personal reasons, and new member Simon will replace
him. [2]

U-KISS (Korean: 유키스 , Japanese: ユーキス) is a South Korean boy band formed by NH Media in 2008. Their name is an acronym, standing for Ubiquitous Korean International idol Super Star.[1] The group consists of Soohyun, Kiseop, Eli, Kevin, Dongho, Hoon and AJ (the latter two joining the group in 2011).[2] Their biggest hit was "Bingeul Bingeul" (2010) from their first full-length album Only One. In September of 2011, U-Kiss released their second full-length album, Neverland. They made their formal debut in Japan in 2011 with the release of the single "Tick Tack".[3] The second single is entitled Forbidden Love while their first Japanese full-length album is dubbed as A Shared Dream
(2012). Since their debut, the group has released three full-length
albums, six extended plays and various singles. The group also
participated in various TV reality shows and films.

The group was formed by Cube Entertainment, which in April 2012 released a debut album, Born to Beat, with songs co-written by Jörgen Elofsson.[2]
BtoB was chosen as the new group in order to show their competitiveness
and their survival strategies for being known as 'performance-dols'
within the competition of the music world for cable Mnet's reality
program 'Amazon (Idol Master ZONE) for their first broadcast to be on
the 4 April 2012 which marks BtoB first reality program.[3]
It was stated from the start that Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lim
Hyunsik, Jung Ilhoon and Lee Minwoo (이민우) were on the list of original
members who are waiting to be debuted under the name of "BtoB". However,
Lee Minwoo had dropped out of the list of confirmed members after their
first appearance on the sitcom and the fact of him not debuting with
BtoB had upset many fans. On March 23, 2012, Cube Entertainment had
clarified that there are problems with Minwoo's health resulting in him
being unable to blend into the group. Adding on, he will still be a
trainee under Cube. If his health is to recover, he might still get a
chance to debut.[

Girl's Day (걸스데이) is a five-member South Korean girl group under the management of Dream Tea Entertainment. The five members are: So Jin, Ji Hae, Min Ah, Yura & Hyeri. The fan name is "Daisy" or "Dai5y".DreamTea Entertainment started Girl's Day promotions before their debut
with the creation of an official Cafe, YouTube channel, and Twitter
accounts for the group and each member. A forum made by fans was also
recognized by the company as their official international forum. The
group also released dance flash mobs before their debut on the
commercial and entertainment districts of Seoul gaining much interest.

Chocolat (Hangul: 쇼콜라), commonly stylized as ChoColat, is a South Koreangirl group
created by Paramount Music in 2011. Their group name means "Chocolate"
in French. Their name was chosen because the different characters of the
members would remind people of different types of chocolate. However,
due to there already being a group with the name Chocolate, the French
translation was chosen as their group name to set themselves apart from
that unit.[1]
The group consists of five members: three are mixed race Korean,
(Juliane, Tia, Melanie), and the other two are Korean (Min Soa,
Jaeyoon).
